Monthly Food Lust: Macarons

A food obsession Sophie and I have developed is macarons. This lust came recently after a spontaneous visit to Laduree one wintry afternoon. Since then we have been addicted, seeking out all macarons in sight. After trial and error we decided Pierre Herme are our favourite. The wide variation and exotic flavour combinations got us hooked. Our local branch is in Knightsbridge so we drop by regularly on a lunch break (a bit too regularly!)

It was love at first taste with these Laduree babys...These were the culprits that got us hooked.

Vanilla and Raspberry are our favourite flavours.

Next we tried Harvey Nichols. Unfortunately they didn't impress.

Then we hit the jackpot and discovered Pierre Herme...

All the flavours in store that day!

So far 100% our favourite. 

They are so rich in flavour and always taste freshly made.
