What to wear; Birthday Lunch

Last Sunday it was the birthday of one of our good friends Lana -she turned 19! To celebrate she decided on an intimate Birthday Lunch with a few close friends at a delicious Russian restaurant, Mari Vana in Knightsbridge.

S: I didn't want to go overboard as a I knew everyone except the birthday girl would be very laid back. I chose a grey v neck with an Indian print on the front (urban outfitters), a cream cardigan (Joseph), my usual blue jeans (GAP), I knew I was wearing my leather jacket (topshop) I wanted to spice things up so I added my grey fur gilet (Joseph) which went perfectly with the outfit. I topped it off with some simple but smart dolly shoes (office).

W: Although our host said it was a "casual" lunch, we wanted to dress to impress! It was her birthday after all... I choose a blue shirt (gap), navy skinny jeans (gap) tucked into brown knee high suede boots. I wore my leaver jacket topped with my Mongolian sheepskin gillet! My mulberry scarf to keep me warm and some subtle gold jewellery to jazz things up.
