Now this is usually a busy day for Willa and I as we have decided to take up tennis (Henry Lamb Tennis). Unfortunately Willa was unable to make the event due to other plans, so I took it on.
Of course, as anyone would be, I was very excited/honoured to be contacted. So I knew I had to make a good first impression - the pressure was on! After arriving home from my tennis class, I had 30 mins to completely transform into a glam-puss. As it was such a beautiful day, I decided on my tight blue jeans (Topshop), a simple light blue cotton vest top (Joseph) and paired these with my navy suede moccasins (Blue Velvet). To finish off my outfit, I added my bo-ho chic necklace (Reminiscence) and a statement silver bangle (Vintage).
The event was to introduce us to all the up and coming artists; Danilo Gabrielli, Jungwon, Tess johnson and Furansu. As I entered Mania Mia I immediately feel in love with the presentation, and the back wall, the lit sign!
I was welcomed by Kerry Bannigan - behind Nolcha Fashion Week, and with no further adieu, Danilo Gabrielli's representative came up and introduced herself, explaining the different collections. I was then offered some refreshments.
Which really got me in the mood to do some intense show stopping finds!
When going through the summer collection, I found a variety of different looks, there seemed to be a few very formal pieces which were not to my taste (as they were aimed at a more mature market). I have always been a huge fan of champagne colour pieces, and as I kept looking... I found a whole section of just that. Looking through there were two pieces that really stood out for me! A silk layered cami (and if you didn't know I am the biggest fan of silk), which they also had in black and white.

This is perfect for summer, having lunch at the club - this dress and a pair of nude heels and your set!
Every year you always look for that perfect maxi dress, and yes, they are rare to find. But ladies, the search has come to an end! I found a very colourful, very Missoni styled dress. See if you can spot it...
Lastly, I went to last seasons collection (The Hip Tree), they were more lay back, young and graphic. I loved these pieces. Take a look at some of the printed tee's:
I would really recommend you all take a visit to Mania Mia on the New Kings Road, it has some really individual pieces and while you in the area you can also take a look at Deuxieme (My favourite designer second hand store) and Katie&Jo (A new find - which has become a new favourite as well)
