Always on the look out for a new Cake-stop... Zack's on the Gloucester Road was next.
Florence and I try and make a weekly appointment to catch up! Usually we go to Ottelenghi (Check out our post on it here), but this time we felt like something new.
The atmosphere inside is cute and bistro like. Long wooden tables, bar stools and fresh flowers. Seems like the perfect place for a Sunday morning coffee or Afternoon Tea.
It was Afternoon tea for us!
As it was lunch time we shared one out of the many healthy salads and a quiche, leaving space for cake of course!
We ordered one Red Velvet and one Carrot cake and shared them. All the cakes are made fresh daily and it really shines through- These triple layer cakes are super tasty and full of flavour.
Which you can probably tell by the looks on our faces!
