After a hot day of window shopping on the portobello road we headed up to The Rum Kitchen for some early evening cocktails. I had never been before but my brother introduced the place to me, this will be for sure a regular stop off for some drinks with the girls, and I have yet to try the food which is supposedly incredible.
The atmosphere inside is very 'beach-shack' making you feel like you are in the Caribbean for the evening, the chilled beachy music adds to the feel.
We each ordered the Rum Skull Punch which is a rum based coconut and pineapple cocktail and another which I forgot the name of but tasted more like a Mojito.
The cocktail menu is varied but the barmen are more than willing to alter any combination for you which is great, and apparently they have over 100 types of rum! -yum!

A sneaky snapchat sent out to some friends! ha.
My next stop here will certainly be to try out the food one night, they also have a basement which turns more clubby later into the night!
