Little taste of summer

If you are looking for the perfect place to catch up over delicious food, this is ideal.

As many of you may know the Hurlingham Club is a members club only - but if you are a member you are allowed to bring guests. 

Luckily for me, I am a member, so I brought along my friend Bea.

Now for Bea and I it has become a tradition for us to catch up over a good club sandwich, as we came after 3pm it was not possible to order one of these beauties. So they offered us a panini of our choice. I got cheese and tomato, and Bea decided on ham and cheese. On the side they gave us a side salad and crisps as well as french fries - My favourite.

For desert, there were a selection of cakes, pies and crumbles. As for me I ordered the Cherry crumble - Now I wasn't sure how this was going to taste as I always have rhubarb crumble, but it really did beat all. Being cold it was the perfect finish to the lunch, and this has not become my usual.

Bea on the other hand couldn't decide between the chocolate brownies or the carrot cake, but then ended up choosing the cake. She thought that it was a bit dry and next time we decided she should pick the brownies.

After we decided the work the meal off, by having some harmless fun - In the children's playground.
